How Do I Book A Massage?
​
The best way to book a relaxation, remedial, pregnancy or any of our day spa packages is via out booking form here. Alternatively please text or call us on 0438 567 906 and we will get back to you quickly. Our booking system is quick and easy. When you book we gather all the information, match you with the best therapist for your needs, take payment to lock it all in, and then email confirmation with all the details to ensure everything is correct.

Do I Need To Provide Anything For My Massage?
​
With the in home mobile massage service, we just need a space to set up with our table. It is also preferable, but not absolutely necessary, for us to have access to hot water and electricity, though we can work around this. Otherwise your mobile service will bring everything with them and you just need to relax. At Ripple we bring towels, oils, face masks, hot towel steamers, relaxation music and speaker, a super comfortable mobile massage table plus lots more. All you need to do is make sure the room is a comfortable temperature for you, that's it!

What Room Space Is Needed?
​
We don't need that much space, just enough for a massage table and for us to be able to move around it. We are used to moving furniture and working everything out, so just relax, your therapist will do it all for you and work out the best place in your accommodation or home to set up for your massage. Our therapists tend to have larger, more comfortable tables, usually around 2 metres long and around 80 cm wide, we also then need room to move around the table as we massage. But relax! We will do all of this for you.

How Do I Pay?
​
All of the admin and payment is done at the time of booking, so on the day of your appointment you can just relax and your massage therapist can concentrate purely on giving you the best possible day spa treatment. Ripple takes full payment via Visa or Mastercard over the phone or by direct bank link, and this locks in your booking and therapist (so you won't get cancelled on!) All this process makes it super easy for you, all of the organising is done well ahead of time, so on the day you can relax and your therapist can focus on giving you the best mobile massage they can.

What Should I Wear?
​
This is totally up to you, but we do suggest you have on comfortable clothes. For your massage we will ask you to just wear your underwear and take of outer clothing and bra. Sometimes our clients will be ready in a robe for their massage, but its up to you, this is not necessary. More questions are answered about your treatment here

Will I Be Covered?
​
Yes absolutely, you will be covered with towels, sheet or light blanket during your massage. Your therapist will then undrape the part of the body they are working on, and cover back up when they are finished on that region. At all times you will be covered during your massage so you feel comfortable and relaxed. Your privacy is our priority.

What Types Of Massage Are Available?
​
Ripple has a wide range of massage styles, and highly qualified massage therapists. The styles range from deep tissue massage and remedial massage, to trigger point therapy, relaxation massage, pregnancy and post natal massage, reflexology, facial massages and more. Ripple also does lymphatic massage and drainage, NDIS massages, massage and day spa treatments for pamper parties and girls getaways, and couples massage. Please ask at time of booking if you have questions about your therapist, the type of massage techniques they use and qualifications, we aim to match you with a therapist that will give you the best treatment possible.

What Should I Expect From A Mobile Massage?
​
Your mobile massage therapist from Ripple will arrive usually ten minutes before your appointment time to set up. They will bring everything with them and set up their table, hot towel steamer, music and day spa products quickly. You won't have to move furniture or anything, just relax while you have a peppermint scented foot soak as we finish our set up. Your mobile massage therapist will consult with you about what you would like from your massage, go through the treatment they have planned, ask about health issues you may or allergies (especially to essential oils) and which parts of the body you would like them to focus on. They will then give you a massage just like you would expect in a day spa or clinic. On finishing, we will let you relax on the table, and after quickly pack up and leave, allowing you to just enjoy the after massage glow. More on our mobile massage services are here

What Should I Expect On My First Booking?
​
Your therapist will consult with you to ensure you receive the massage you would like. They will take your health history, taking not of any previous injuries, allergies or other health issues. We will tailor your spa package to you, leaving more time for those things you like, and minimising or leaving out those things you don't like so much. Please let us know your preferences and don't be shy. We love to hear the pressure you would like and if you love having your feet massaged (or not!)

Will The Massage Hurt?
​
If you ask for deep tissue and trigger point massage, this can be uncomfortable as we work out your massage knots. But we will only every massage as deep as you might like. So if you are after purely relaxation, and don't want any deep work, please let us know. If you do want muscular remedial work, also let us know, and your therapist will consult with you on the intensity of pressure you would like. If at any time during you the massage you are too uncomfortable, it is hurting too much or is too intense, please let us know and we can adjust anything.

How Will I Feel After My Massage?
​
Most of our clients say they feel really relaxed, often sleepy. Indeed it's common for our clients to fall asleep on our tables (don't worry if you snore, we take it as a compliment!). Our clients often feel more positive as massage releases endorphins and serotonin, both feel good neurotransmitters. If you have wanted deep tissue work, you may also have more range of movement, not feel as stiff or sore, and be able to move more freely.

What Is The Price For A Massage?
​
Our prices start at $70 for a half hour massage and go up to $390 for our 3 hour package. A one hour massage or pamper package is $130. All of our pricing is here

Is It Necessary To Book In Advance?
​
We can often come to you same day, but the more notice you give the better. Its far better to book in advance as that gives us time to lock in your therapist on the day and time of your choosing. Especially for couples massages, hens parties, corporate massages or girls weekends where you may want a couple of massage of therapists, booking in advance give you a better chance of getting multiple therapists to you.
